In 2026, the structure of satellite broadcasting in Ukraine stabilized after several challenging years. Amos (4.0°W), which served as a primary source for over 15 years, has largely ceased Ukrainian broadcasting. Major media groups (1+1 Media, StarLightMedia, Inter Media Group) concentrated their feeds on Astra 4A (4.8°E).
DVB-S2 and H.264 became mandatory: Legacy DVB-S/MPEG-2 broadcasts have virtually ended. If your receiver does not support DVB-S2, most Ukrainian channels will not be found during scanning or will display a blank screen.
Redundancy via Eutelsat 9B (T2-MI): To protect against signal interference, ZeonBud utilizes transponders on Eutelsat 9B (9.0°E). Modern receivers (uClan, Sat-Integral, Openbox) unpack T2-MI streams automatically.
