A USB flash drive — is a proven and predictable method. A fundamentally important nuance: use a drive with a capacity of up to 32 GB in FAT32 format. On a test bench with the SRT 4922 UHD we recorded a file-read error on exFAT drives — the receiver simply ignored the firmware file without any error message.
- Copy the firmware file to the root of the flash drive. Do not create subfolders.
- Turn off the receiver with the button on the body (not the remote).
- Insert the flash drive into the USB port on the rear panel.
- Turn on the receiver. The system will automatically detect the file and offer an update.
- Confirm with the OK button. Do not cut the power.
