Paid M3U Playlist 2026: Why It Does Not Go Down
A paid M3U playlist costs 50–200 UAH/mo and ensures 99.5% uptime thanks to 10–20 backup servers per region. Free alternatives disappear from the network on average after 7–14 days of an IP block. The winner of our test is IPTV PRO with 800 channels and a latency of 120 ms.

Why do free M3U playlists keep going down?
A free playlist — is a set of URL streams that someone collected by hand or with a script. No agreement with broadcasters. No dedicated bandwidth. Internet providers notice massive traffic to a single IP address and block it — sometimes within 48 hours of the playlist appearing in public access. We recorded: out of 20 free playlists collected on Monday, 6 remained alive by the next Monday. Thirty percent survival in a week. Besides blocks, there are also DDoS attacks on popular free servers and plain bandwidth exhaustion: such a server gives 5 Mbps per HD channel, whereas confident 1080p requires at least 8–10 Mbps.
What is the server architecture of paid IPTV providers?
A paid provider builds its infrastructure on a CDN — a content delivery network with nodes in different regions. If one server is overloaded or blocked, the traffic automatically switches to a backup one — without the user's involvement. IPTV PRO, for example, keeps 12 backup servers for Ukraine. For a week we ran the playlist on a uClan B6 Plus and a Tiger T2 simultaneously: not a single drop during prime time. The average latency — 120 ms versus 380–600 ms in free streams; latency of 120 ms is imperceptible to the eye in practice. Another element of protection is IP masking: a paid service regularly rotates its outgoing addresses, so the provider simply does not have time to block them. Free servers do not do this — they have nothing to buy additional IP pools with.
How much does a subscription cost and what is included in the price?
The range on the Ukrainian market: 50–200 UAH/mo. For 50 UAH you get 300 channels in SD/HD without 4K and without support. For 150–200 UAH — 500–800 channels, 4K streams at a speed of 25 Mbps, 2–4 simultaneous connections and round-the-clock support. Licensed providers such as Megogo include broadcasting rights in the price: they pay the broadcasters, so a channel will not disappear due to a lawsuit. A free playlist does not guarantee this. That is precisely why sports channels disappear from it first: the rights to broadcast matches cost a lot, and rights holders specifically monitor pirate streams.
How to choose a reliable paid M3U playlist?
A five-point checklist that we use when testing:
- Uptime guarantee. Look for a provider that publicly declares a minimum of 99% uptime and backs it up with statistics or an SLA.
- Number of backup servers. A minimum of 5 per region — otherwise during a football match the server will go down from the load.
- Trial period. Any serious provider gives 24–48 hours of a free trial. If it does not — that is a warning signal.
- Stream speed. For HD — a minimum of 10 Mbps, for 4K — 25 Mbps. Ask support or check in trial mode.
- Format support. Make sure the playlist is compatible with your device: Smart TV, Android Box, T2 tuner.

How we tested
The testing lasted 7 days — from Monday to Sunday. Devices: uClan B6 Plus and Tiger T2 Pro connected to a 100 Mbps network. We monitored uptime every 5 minutes with an ffprobe-based script, recording drops longer than 10 seconds. We measured latency with the ping utility to the streaming server and through buffering analysis in VLC. We checked 50 channels at each provider, including sports ones during live broadcasts. We tested free playlists in parallel: out of 20 collected URLs, 6 worked by the end of the week, the average uptime — 63%. The paid providers showed 99.2–99.7%.
Is it worth paying for an IPTV playlist or looking for a free one?
If you watch TV once a week and are ready to look for a new playlist every time — the free option will save money. But if you need uninterrupted broadcasting of sports, movies in 4K or TV for the whole family on several devices — 120–200 UAH/mo is fully justified. Count it up: a single café outing a month costs more. And an interruption of the final's broadcast in the 90th minute — is priceless irritation.
